3…2…1…Liftoff!

My new website is launched. Higher, higher, higher and now…finally, orbit has been achieved! You’re now welcome to come aboard. The website address is EngineeringDesignSolutions.com. Come and visit us.

I hope you will take some time to poke around, well, everywhere. Not only am I very interested in your comments per se, but I would also very much appreciate if you inform me if something is: not right, unclear, might have been omitted or should have been included. Some of you may recognize some of the parts, assemblies or drawings displayed. However, you can rest assured that a complete product will not be shown, unless and until it has been released in the marketplace. Of course, if you want to show a product on my website, that has not been released publicly, just let me know, in writing, and I may post it on the website.

I have included a whole page of Technical Terms for those who might not be familiar with the technical jargon (specialized words) in the field of design and manufacturing engineering. When those technical words appear on the website, they will be colored gold-orange. Simply by placing your cursor over those words, you will see a brief definition of that word. (If you want to study all of the words, just go to the Technical Terms page and have at it.) I know that personally, when I go to a website that has a technical word or acronym that is never spelled out or defined, I become somewhat annoyed.

As I would eventually like to be considered a resource for information as well as a source for the design work you need done quickly and competently, I definitely do not want you getting annoyed with me, especially over a word or acronym that is undefined.

Of course (here comes the shameless plug) I want to be the company you call when you need some help with any design or manufacturing issue. If it is a part, subassembly or the complete product, I can help you. If it is a production issue, whether too little production, too much scrap or just too complicated an assembly process / line, I can help you. Just “Contact Us.”

I hope you like my new website and will visit it often for new information and postings. I would really appreciate your feedback, whether pro or con, to help me make it a useful resource for you. Thank you.
